New research indicates Brain Function increased with Haritaki

The latest news is that Haritaki has been shown to increase brain function. Researchers found out to their surprise that haritaki improved brain function and slowed cognitive decline. This obviously is very profound considering the number of people who are noticing issues with brain function diseases such as Parkinson s disease and Alzheimer’s disease.

The researchers used the “cholinergic hypothesis” of Alzheimer’s disease which is linked to a decline in the amount of the acetylcholine in the brain.

More insights on how haritaki works.

Research reveals that more than half your body is not human. What this more than half of you is, is bacteria that have an independent life while living within you.

These bacteria cause us to be healthy or unhealthy. Research has indicated that when we change the bacterial composition in us we then change our health. We know that haritaki is amazing at eliminating bacteria that is harmful to us, and fostering bacteria that is helpful to us. Looking at the effects of haritaki through this lens we see how potent it can be for massive transformation of our bodies, as Paramahamsa Nithyananda discusses with us regularly.

Bizarre Haritaki stories from India

I just came back from India..

I was taking a course in third eye awakening, and a lot of weird things happened associated with Haritaki.

Now this may sound strange to some of my readers but here goes!

Ready for some odd stories about the benefits of Haritaki?

The way I was introduced to Haritaki was through an Indian guru, called Paramahamsa Nithyananda. He has been making sure that all the people who he speaks to hear about the extraordinary benefits of Haritaki.

From Nithyananda’s perspective Haritaki is not only the “King of Herbs” and good for an amazingly healthy body it is the most powerful tool to awaken the mystical third eye.

“What the heck is the third eye?” You may be asking.

It is the source of intuition, of inner knowing and sixth sense. For Nithyananda its use is normal, basic and natural, but for most people on the planet, its use is occasional to never.

So much for the background now on to the Bizarre stories.

In India, we take Haritaki daily, often twice a day. We take it at night just before bed to cleanse the system so that in the morning our bowel movement is so extensive that we know we have cleansed all yesterday’s food and toxins from the system. I felt so so light after doing this, like I could jump a tall building. (which I did not try!)

There were about 300 of us who would sit and meditate and then practice various third eye powers.

My Results

Body Scanning for illness and remedies

I found that I could body scan people and let them know of injuries, sore spots and remedies for those problems.

Remote Viewing

I was able to remote view. Look at a person’s house who I did not know and then describe it to them. One person, when I scanned his house all I saw was nature and fields. I could not find the house. I thought that perhaps he was a nature lover. When I told him what I saw he informed me that his house was being built in a field right now!

Moving objects with my mind

We found out that when an object such as a coconut is held in another person’s flat hand, we could move them quite easily so that they would roll out of the hand on to the floor. I rolled hundreds of coconuts using this method. Moving the same coconut on the ground was much harder and I was not able to do that. I think that we become one with another person much easier than we become one with the ground.

I could move a round crystal that was placed on a flat surface with my mind. I moved it about 6 inches. Once. not again. yet!

I saw hundreds of examples of third eye awakening and activity, it was a super fun time and quite like Hogwarts Harry Potter school of magic at times. Some of the people attending were able to read any book at all while their eyes were covered.

What does all this mean for your physical health?

What it means is that there is now ample proof that Haritaki has remarkable effects on brain. The third eye is part of the human brain, and as it increases in performance so does the rest of the brain.
Body scanning reveals the effects of Haritaki on the body. Just about all body scanners were able to see the strong cleansing effects of Haritaki on the digestive system vs any other normal digestion. They reported to me that it is almost like two different beings, one regular without Haritaki, and two cleansed and healthy and vibrant, with regular Haritaki.

Increase Strength and Energy with Haritaki

There are a whole pile of videos coming out of the Nithyananda ashram in India about Haritaki, in this blog poste here we are focusing on Haritaki for athletes

I was at the ashram in August for about 10 days and had a remarkable time experiencing new openings in my third eye. As you may remember I was there in January at the Ashram for a month. In that time I was able to remote view houses around the world and describe them. I was also able to body scan.

In the meantime I had also developed more advanced skills. I was able to move coconuts that were placed in the hands of a person. I would go into a state of oneness with the coconut and then it would roll out of the hand.

This time in August I was able to do even more. I was able to move a round crystal called an Atma Linga, with my mind. It moved about 6 inches on a flat surface during a specific meditation that went on for 42 minutes. This meditation was also all about being in oneness with the world and with the crystal in particular. Paramahamsa Nithyananda describes it this way “You are in oneness over the object and at that point it becomes an extention of you, just as your hand is an extension of you.”

Haritaki is considered essential to develop all these powers.

Each day we were drilled on the importance of haritaki to cleanse and remove toxins from the body so that the third eye could function to its optimum level

Haritaki and Pole Yoga

Pneumonia may be helped with Haritaki

Research indicates that the cytomegalovirus can be a cause of pneumonia. Research into cytomegalovirus indicates that Haritaki may be helpful for this condition. I am posting a link here to the article on cytomegalovirus and Haritaki.

Here is some background on Pneumonia. Your doctor can advise you if the particular virus that is causing your pneumonia could be helped with Haritaki.

How much Haritaki to take for Pneumonia?

The amounts of Haritaki to take vary according to your digestive system. If you tend towards constipation then Haritaki is best taken in larger amounts. What I mean by larger amounts are 1-2 tablespoons per night at bedtime. When your constipation turns to regular bowel movements first thing in the morning with a feeling of complete elimination then you know you are on the right track.

Cytomegalovirus and Haritaki

Research indicates promising results for cytomegalovirus by using Haritaki

cytomegalovirus belongs to a family of viruses related to the herpes group. Researchers in Japan at the Department of Virology, Toyama Medical and Pharmaceutical University, studied the effect of haritaki on the cytomegalovirus in mice.

PMID: 8891165

Mice were subcutaneously treated with various doses of cyclosporine, and immunosuppression and MCMV infection were monitored by suppression of antibody production and virus yield in the lung, respectively.
Each herbal extract was orally administered to mice treated with 50 mg/kg of cyclosporine from a day before intraperitoneal infection, and the efficacy of herbs was evaluated by the reduction in the virus yield in the lung.
Terminalia chebula significantly suppressed MCMV yields in lungs of treated mice compared with water treatment.
Efficacy of oral treatment with 750 mg/kg per day of Geum japonicum extract was similar to that of the intraperitoneal administration of 2 mg/kg per day of ganciclovir in increasing the body weight of infected mice and reducing the virus yield in the lungs.
These herbs may be beneficial for the prophylaxis of CMV diseases in immunocompromised patients

How common is Cytomegalovirus (CMV)?

Between 50-80% of the population in the USA have Cytomegalovirus (CMV). However it does not complicate for most people. When it does interfere with health it shows up in various forms.

Symptoms and effects on the body can be very serious if the person has a weakened immune system already. Particularly at risk are HIV patients and people with autoimmune diseases.

Symptoms vary according to age and health of the patient. Some of the symptoms include:

Infants who are infected before birth usually show no symptoms of a CMV infection after they are born. They may develop severe symptoms including hearing loss, blindness, neurological, and developmental problems over time. Some infants may have other symptoms at birth including premature delivery, jaundice, enlarged liver and spleen, small head or microcephaly, being small for gestational age, seizures, rash, and feeding difficulties.
Newborns affected with the virus after birth by passing through the birth canal of an infected mother or by consuming breast milk from a mother with the virus or due to contact with an infected person usually show no symptoms of CMV infection. Some may develop pneumonia and other complications. If the babies have been born prematurely they are at a greater risk of complications.
Young children with the infection may develop insignificant illness. In some cases there may be complications like pneumonia, hepatitis, or a rash. Older children and healthy adults may have a few days or couple of weeks of mild illness with muscle pain, fatigue, headache, fever, and enlarged liver and spleen.

Haritaki has been shown to have anti-cancerm anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, and anti-spasmodic properties

Research is showing that haritaki has an ever increasing list of healing properties, caused by the extensive list of “Anti” properties in the haritaki.

I found this list very interesting:

Non-clinical studies: Antibacterial, anticancer, antifungal, anti-mutagenic, antispasmodic, cytotoxic, cardio-tonic, hypolipidemic, hypotensive, immunosupresasant and prokinetic.
Sohni and Bhatt (1996) reported antiprotozoal activity of a combination of Terminalia chebula, Boerhavia diffusa, Berberis aristata, Tinospora cordifolia and Zingiber officinale.)
Jagtap and Karkera (1999) reported antibacterial activity of an aqueous extract of chebula against Streptococcus mutans.
Phadke and Kulkarni (1989) reported antibacterial activity of crude extract of chebula against variety of pathogenic bacteria.
