Chebula History
Chebula, also known as chebulic myrobalan, is a powerful medicinal herb that has been used for centuries to treat various ailments and improve skin health. It is an important ingredient in many Ayurvedic facial packs and other beauty products.
How Chebula improves the skin
Chebula works to help promote skin hydration, reduce inflammation and irritation, and even boost collagen production. This makes it an effective tool for fighting signs of aging like wrinkles and fine lines, while also providing antioxidant protection from environmental stressors. Additionally, chebula can be used to tone the complexion and promote a healthy glow.
Different ways to use Chebula on the skin
To reap its benefits, chebula can be added directly to a facial mask or applied directly onto the face with yogurt or honey as part of a facial regimen.
Simple Facepack:
Many of my customers use it as a face mask by mixing it with water to make a paste and applying it on the skin, and leaving for 20 minutes before washing it off. A number of males have used it this way and report a huge reduction in the blemishes in their skin, they report that it feels like they have a baby face again! Females too report that their skin feels much more youthful even after a few days of applying their homemade facepack.

What sort of Chebula to buy?
I recommend buying organic Chebula that way you know that it is free of preservatives and toxins. In India the trees grow wild and are plentiful, and so purchasing organic Chebula is a sound idea.
